January 16, 3016 (Powerhomebiz.net) Active Staffing Services, a leading provider of temporary staffing associates, entered into a binding agreement to acquire the assets of Blass Employment Corporation, a temporary employment staffing company dedicated to servicing the Industrial market since 1980, to enhance its position in servicing existing loyal clients and generate new business growth in The New York and New Jersey markets.
The purchase of Blass Employment Corporation, based in Manhattan, New York, further increases Active Staffing Service’s share of the Industrial segment and is the second acquisition made in the past year. “The addition of Blass to the Active Staffing organization has opened us up to servicing various segments of the Industrial niche that we were not previously exposed to,” said Elliot Elzweig, President of Active Staffing Services. “The acquisition has also provided Active with an applicant pool which is expected to relieve the pressure on our existing quality temporary personnel,” added Tina Acker, Senior Branch Manager of Active Staffing Services.

Active is in the process of integrating Blass’s Applicant and Client base with Active’s. Blass Employment Corporation, will continue to operate under the Active Staffing Services banner, and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Active Staffing Services.
