September 15, 2014 (Powerhomebiz.net) Months before the start of this competition, TechHR invited applications from technology start-ups, active in making the world of recruitment automated and more efficient, across India to submit an initial brief about their business.
Of the hundreds of applications received, finally they called 9 participants (top 3) for three categories – Futurism in Recruitment, Futurism in Talent Management and Futurism in HR Analytics, to come and present their idea.
Applicant Tracking System was chosen among top 3 for ‘Futurism in Recruitment’ category. All the 9 participants were given a demo box each to present their technology. Applicant Tracking System received a phenomenal response from the visitors, who were very keen on understanding what this technology does and how it can be integrated in their company’s hiring process. The delegates from major brands who visited their demo booth and showed their interest were – Airtel, IBM, Jindal Steel & Power, Indian Oil, Dainik Bhaskar, IndiGo, Honda, Xerox India and many more.
Apart from the competition, the event was a mix of interaction session with HR leaders from various industries, fun and engaging events and delicious snacks in between. It was encouraging for presenters to engage in one-to-one interaction with various HRs and understand their issues and pain points while carrying a recruitment process.
Ester Martinez, the Founder & Editor of People Matters Magazine ended the event with encouraging words and announced the return of TechHR in 2015.
