April 17, 2013 (Powerhomebiz.com) BIG+BIH April 2013, ASEAN’s best gift and houseware fair, will be held from April 19 – 23, 2013 at BITEC, Bang-na, Bangkok, Thailand. It is the 35th event organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and Thai Lifestyle Products Federation (TLPF) . The theme ‘ASEAN Life+style’ presented the leadership in both the creative design and quality of the Thai lifestyle products among the ASEAN countries.
This event is the trendsetter of the Thai lifestyle products. This year the exhibition space is over 40,000 square meters, accommodating over 1,500 exhibitors’ booths from 600 companies. A large variety of products will be displayed such as gift items made from various innovative materials including fabric, souvenirs, arts & crafts, potpourri, woven home décor, home and office stationeries, Christmas decorative items, candles, toys, kitchen utensils and many more.
Every BIG+BIH event has always focused on the product development, creative design and innovation. Therefore, this year the space of the Design Hall displaying selected superbly designed products has been devoted, 20% larger than before. In addition, it is the first time to allocate the special Small Order Zone catering to the new market trend of more varieties but less inventory, making it more convenient for the buyers to purchase the desired products as well.

1. The exhibition of the Design Excellence Award 2012 (Demark), displaying the best design, award-winning Thai products from the lifestyle, fashion and packing categories
2. The exhibition of the best OTOP from all the provinces and regions of Thailand selling to the world market, under the thematic concept of ECO Style: Back to the Origin, focusing on the environmental-friendly products
3. The exhibition of the premium-positioning OTOP brand named PORDI, marketing to the international markets
4. The Thailand Trust Mark (TTM) exhibition of Thailand’s own logo to mark the high quality and standard of the products and services, with international recognition 5. The Eco + Innovation exhibition, displaying eco-products produced by the Thai exporters, creating trade strength and uniqueness in the high-end and niche market
6. For the first time ever, the special competition on international trade innovations and environmental-friendly products called The Best Innovation Award and The Best Eco Award.

• Open for Public: Monday April 22 – Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 10.00 hrs. – 21.00 hrs . (General public / consumers are welcome to visit and buy products.)
