Car Accident Creates Opportunity for Entrepreneur to Make Millions in Apps

November 24, 2011 (Powerhomebiz.com) After a devastating car accident crushed Chad Mureta’s arm, he was confined to a hospital bed and racked with medical bills. Depressed and unsure of his future, Mureta’s path changed course when a friend suggested he look into the iPhone app market. Two years later, Mureta has emerged to own three app companies with over 40 apps totaling more than 2.5 million in revenue. With the release of his new book, Mureta reveals what it takes to make it in the app market and how anyone can build their own App Empire.

”I was driving home on the interstate when a deer ran out in front of me. After hitting the deer, my vehicle smashed into the median where I flipped over 4 times before coming to a stop. After gaining consciousness, I realized my shoulder and left arm were seriously injured. After weeks in the hospital, I underwent an intensive surgery that entailed a foot of titanium and 15 screws in to save my arm.” While Mureta’s arm was saved, his real estate business was failing without his physical presence. He knew he could no longer support himself and pay off medical bills while living in a hospital.

Luckily, a good friend visiting Mureta in the hospital convinced him to look into the mobile app industry, a completely foreign industry to Mureta who had purchased his first iPhone the night before the accident. From his hospital bed, Mureta experimented with his iPhone and realized the possibilities in this emerging market. “I am not a tech guy, but I have always been an entrepreneur looking for businesses that make money and still give me freedom to enjoy my life. It was great timing because it got my mind off all the pain and frustration,” he says.

By taking advantage of this booming industry, Mureta has earned millions in app revenue, all through working remotely. Now instead of being tied down to his business, Mureta enjoys a life of financial stability and freedom to travel the world.

In App Empire: Make Money, Have a Life, and Let Technology Work for You, Mureta reveals his secrets to working remotely while creating revenue through mobile apps to live an ideal life. App Empire dissects marketing strategies, successful formulas for getting thousands of downloads a day, the secret to app visibility, and insight to help readers navigate the app store market.
