Hong Kong Tops Broadband Peak Speeds List

August 16, 2012 (Powerhomebiz.com) According to a recent report by Akamai, the average broadband peak speeds in Hong Kong were registered at 49.2 Mbps. This made the city top the broadband speeds list ahead of South Korea and Japan. Average broadband speeds have typically been dominated by South Korea and they still continue to remain on top when it comes to overall average speed. Improved broadband peak speeds in Hong Kong are being attributed to the latest advanced fibre optic infrastructure of the city.
