October 4, 2011 (Powerhomebiz.com) The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Tim Dodds, was the guest of honour at the unveiling of Banner Homes’ latest new homes development in Frimley, Surrey recently. Cllr Dodds officially opened the Clewborough Rise scheme of some 60 new homes on a weekend which saw nearly 500 people visit the site with a view to buying a home there.
“I am delighted to open this exciting new development for Banner Homes,” says Cllr Dodds. “The design of the homes and the attention to detail is very impressive and I am pleased to see new homes of this calibre being built in the area.”
These new homes in Surrey are a mix of apartments and houses, with prices on the scheme currently starting at £265,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and rising to £595,000 for a four-/five-bedroom luxury detached home. When completed there will be apartments with one and two bedrooms and houses with three, four or five bedrooms. There is currently a three-bedroom show house open at the site, open from 10.00am to 5.00pm Thursday to Monday.

The development will benefit from landscaping from Graduate Landscapes, a company which won a Gold award at this year’s RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. Not only that, with the development located in a Thames Valley Special Protection Area, there is a guarantee that much of the 14-acre site will be given over to green spaces including woodland and wildlife habitats, with the company also planting a number of new trees to further enhance the local ecology. Banner Homes will also improve an area of heathland over the road from the development.
Frimley is a leafy part of Surrey, surrounded by forest, countryside and lakes, making it an ideal location for anyone who enjoys the “Great Outdoors”. However, it is also well connected to local urban areas such as Farnborough and Camberley and is close to the M3, granting easy access to London and the south coast. There are limited services from its own rail station but a 40-minute direct route to the Capital can be found at nearby Farnborough station.
