The new ad campaign profiles three growing businesses who are leading their niche market using U.S. Postal Services products. “I think the fact that we were chosen to be part of this campaign says a lot about our reputation, commitment to customer service, and quality of products. This year marks our 10 year anniversary, so being independently chosen by the U.S. Postal Service is a really proud moment for us that came at just the right time,” says Lee Williamson, founder of San Francisco Salt Company, which offers salts from around the globe including Dead Sea Salt, Himalayan Salt and Epsom Salt.
The new video campaign, which is currently available through the United States Postal Service YouTube channel, was filmed at two of the San Francisco Salt Company’s locations last month.
“We have been shipping with U.S. Postal Service since 2002 and their shipping system helps us keep things simple. We actually develop products with the size of the flat rate boxes in mind. It takes away a lot of the guess work while preparing shipments as we know what we’ll be able to fit in each box and how much it’s going to cost,” explains Williamson.
“Sea Salt in large volumes is quite heavy. The fact that we can fit twenty to twenty-five pounds in a single flat rate box and ship it to anywhere in the U.S. for the same rate whether it’s going to New York or Hawaii is great. This service has really been an integral part of our business,” Williamson adds.
