August 20, 2013 (Powerhomebiz.com) Roneyfield Photography of Fairfax, Virginia announces a new service line will be added at the beginning of September. This new service will be designed to serve high school seniors and their parents through custom senior portraits.
Previously, Sara Roney, lead photographer at Roneyfield Photography had focused primarily on wedding and engagement photography as well as event photography and newborn photography. To coincide with the new school year of 2013-2014 Roneyfield Photography has made the decision to expand into senior portraiture as well.
“I am very excited to go in this new direction. It is something I have done sparingly in the past but one which I feel will represent a beautiful addition to our business and professional portfolio,” said Roney.
Roneyfield Photography reports that senior portraits have become an increasingly popular avenue for teens to express themselves. “No longer are these pre-college young adults content with standing in front of gray backdrops. They want to have their friends there, they want to bring their electric guitar or football outfit covered with mud from a recent game; they want to express themselves uniquely and dramatically through their senior pictures,” comments John Roney, co-founder of Roneyfield Photography.
This new fall lineup will represent an exciting addition to an already busy photography business that serves the Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC areas. One of the cutting edge innovations used by Roneyfield Photography is their ‘mobile studio’ which allows them to serve clients anywhere in the DC-metro area. They plan to apply this mobile studio idea to the new addition of senior portraiture in order to serve seniors and their parents with this ultimate in convenience: the photo studio that travels to the clients.
