A bootcamp is an intense group fitness training class held over 30 minutes to an hour, which is usually done on a drop-in, per-session basis. It borrows its name from military basic training, which is an intensive training that quickly brings new military recruits to a high fitness level, typically involving outdoor activities and mental conditioning.
